Join us on Thursday, February 16th at Cultra 2- Miami's own roving Open Mic! We'll be supporting Cultra and registering voters, inviting people to join the "What Now, Miami?" community meetings, and writing love letters to our electeds. Who is YOUR Miami political heartthrob?
For our first community meeting in November after the election, we came together to discuss how we could continue proactively working towards the Miami and Florida we want to see. From Call Your Congressman Tuesdays to implementing automatic voter registration, we put forth our best ideas and are already seeing some of them in motion.
Now post-inauguration, we'll come together again to discuss and brainstorm given developments that are having far-reaching effects on our community.
Our meeting is taking place at the Center for Haitian Studies a block down from Engage's office. It's the big yellow building. Please enter through the back parking lot and we'll be up on the second floor!

Come show your support for Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava's ordinance that aims to close a loophole in campaign fundraising disclosure in future Miami-Dade elections.
We cannot allow the appearance that our passion for Transparency has lost any steam. We must show up in numbers to let them know that we are watching this vote closely. The key is to continue our momentum to let our commissioners know we want them to vote Yes.
We understand that it is a challenge to attend during working hours, and so stay tuned for alternative calls to action!
*This event is hosted by Represent Miami
Are you tired of the overwhelming influence of money and special interests in our local politics? We are too. Let's change that, together.
First, there's a local ordinance that would require our County Commissioners to disclose when they are raising money for PACs. That ordinance is on life support and needs our help. Let's strategize together on what we can do to make that happen, and other ideas to curb the influence of money in our politics.
Come learn who has what It takes to be out next City of Miami District 2 Commissioner!
