Fall Harvest... In Miami? Party To The Polls

  • David T Kennedy Park 2600 South Bayshore Drive Miami, FL, 33133 United States (map)

Ah Fall! That time of year in Miami when the leaves start to fall, the flannel comes out of the closet, we enjoy sips of hot apple cider and pumpkin spice latte, there are hayrides every weekend, and there's a chill in the air... wait what?!

Actually it's more falling palm fonds (year round), you only find flannel in Wywnood, what's a hayride?, and it's probably 80 degrees outside. But yes Miamians are likely still drinking pumpkin spice lattes.

Come join Engage Miami in Kennedy Park for a celebration of fall before heading to early vote in the city of Miami election down the street at City Hall. Think cider, pumpkin decorating, cornhole, hay bales, and lots of leftover Halloween candy. Plus mock balloting and other voting-related activities for kids and kids-at-heart!

City of Miami voters AND plain Miami fans (non-voters) are welcome! Thanks to Citizen University and the Knight Foundation for their support through the Joy of Voting project!
